Explore My Journey So Far

My Mission

I help teens and adults who feel stressed, sad, or stuck. My mission is to offer kind, online therapy where you feel heard, not judged. I use simple, proven tools from CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help you understand your thoughts and feelings and take small, steady steps toward healing.

As a Pakistani Muslim woman and researcher, I offer care that respects your culture, faith, and values. We explore these only if they matter to you. Together we build clarity, resilience, and emotional ease.

Disorders Treated

Anxiety
Disorders

Ongoing worry, fear, and body tension that feel hard to control. Therapy helps you calm your mind, face triggers with support, and feel safer in daily life.

Depression and
Low Mood

Lasting sadness, low energy, and loss of interest that affect daily life. Therapy offers space to understand your feelings, gently rebuild hope, and find motivation again.

Stress, Burnout,
and Overwhelm

Ongoing pressure and exhaustion that leave you numb, irritable, or stuck. In therapy, you learn to set limits, cope with stress, and slowly restore balance and energy.

Low Self-Esteem
& Self-Criticism

Harsh self talk, shame, and constant comparison that chip away at your confidence. Therapy helps you challenge these thoughts and build a kinder view of yourself.

Attachment Difficulties

Patterns of conflict, distance, or fear of closeness that make relationships painful or confusing. Therapy helps you understand your needs and practice safer, more secure bonds.

Trauma and Adverse
Life Experiences

Past abuse, accidents, or deep losses can leave you on edge, shut down, or haunted by memories. Therapy offers a safe space to process, soothe your body, and feel in control again.

Life
Transitions

Big changes like study or career shifts, marriage, breakup, or loss can feel messy and unsettling. Therapy helps you process emotions, make choices, and move into new stages with care.

Suicidal
Ideation

Painful thoughts about ending your life are serious and deserve care right away. Therapy offers support, safety planning, and space to explore pain while building reasons to stay.

ABOUT ME

I’m Hifza Rabbani, a clinical psychologist offering online therapy for individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, emotions, relationships, or life transitions. I believe healing happens when people feel truly understood without judgment, labels, or pressure to “fix” themselves.

My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), tailoring each session to the unique experiences, values, and pace of the person in front of me. I work with teenagers and adults navigating anxiety, depression, excessive worry, emotional distress, relationship concerns, and life changes.

Alongside my clinical practice, I have a strong research background and I am a two-time published researcher, with my most recent work published in BMC Women’s Health, focusing on women’s psychological wellbeing. This research foundation informs my commitment to evidence-based and ethically grounded care. Building on this, I have also worked at the intersection of psychology and technology, contributing to the development of human-centered AI tools for mental health, allowing me to integrate scientific rigor with real-world empathy in my therapeutic work.

As a Pakistani Muslim woman, I offer a culturally sensitive and inclusive space, where faith, culture, and personal values are respected and explored only if and when they feel relevant to you. Therapy with me is not about having all the answers, it is about slowing down, making sense of what you are carrying, and moving toward clarity, resilience, and emotional ease, one step at a time.
